Phil Kearney was born in London in 1961, his family moved to Banbury where he completed his schooling at Banbury’s collage of Arts. He moved to Cornwall in 1980 where he continues to exhibit successfully in galleries and shops through out the south west.Phil’s work can also be seen in theme parks through out the country where he paints massive indoor play arrears and manufactures interactive sculptures, he also has become famous for burning giant murals each year at bonfire night. Humour and honesty are the governing factors in his work drawing on life and humanities inspiration.
I paint what I see and I’ve always seen life with humour and honesty, for some it proves to be to honest. How ever the aim of this work is to create a belly laugh, a giggle or just a smile I hope you enjoy.
