Fiona Abel-Smith

I am an international artist, having my first solo exhibition in Spain in 1999 and exhibiting widely in North Bucks since 2004. Painting in oils, my work is always colourful, and I love to portray the colours and patterns found in nature in my art.

In 2006 I began to design and make jewellery, using my artistic background and love of nature to create unique works of art in Polymer Clay that you can wear. In short, I am a very happy artist who is equally passionate about creating jewellery for the body, and paintings for the mind and soul.

In 2009 I put three of my passions together, art, making jewellery and polymer clay, and created a range of polymer clay focal beads. My jewellery design reflects my love of nature, and the focal beads are hand made layers of intricate cane work built up over a complimenting base bead. Each bead is unique and comes with its own reference number and certificate of authenticity. I am a member of the British Polymer Clay Guild and also teach polymer clay techniques locally.
