Linda Boy

I used to be a Food/Industrial Microbiologist but started classes in stained glass 14 years ago because I wanted a  coloured fanlight over my front door. I completed a series of City & Guilds qualifications in all forms of Stained glass and am still addicted to playing with coloured light .Apart from college exhibitions I have had a piece exhibited in the V&A as part of their ‘Inspired By ‘ competition and was part of a 4 person show in Bedford Museum, but generally I tend not to Exhibit but sell my work direct to the public in the Bedfordshire area.

I make traditional leaded, copper-foiled and kiln formed glass. This leaded panel shows coloured light with breathtaking beauty. The center panel is stunning handmade glass painted with swallow silhouettes which is kiln fired to make it permanent. The midnight glass surround, leads and black birds enhance the sunset colours of the glass when light streams through.
